From malpractice to personal injury, from criminal law to product liability, attorneys need to understand the content of medical records. Medical records can be complicated. Many health care professionals document a multiplicity of conditions, diagnostics, and responses to treatment. Complex medical records can be extremely difficult to interpret, possibly involving missing sections of the record or intentional spoilation. A knowledgeable clinical specialist who is cognizant of the needs of legal counsel can bridge the information gap, allowing a more accurate interpretation of the medical record and a more comprehensive evaluation.

Anne Marie Haber, RNC, provides consulting services to attorneys who represent a broad range of disciplines. She provides a summary in lay terms of the incident or condition, as well as assistance formulating questions for deposition and trial. Attendance at deposition and trial, and expert testimony are provided as needed.
